I know it’s silly. My craft should be enough. But sometimes it’s awfully nice to get a little positive reinforcement. Like being told I was more productive than 93% of Grammarly users and have a very unique vocabulary. Wahoo awesome word count!
It was just the pat on the back I needed to feel pleasantly smug about my authoring and write with a little extra enthusiasm and vigor because perception is everything, right? 😉
