Welcome to my website! 
I am currently querying my historical mystery set on the Great Lakes during the 1960s called The Secret of the Old Dock Hand. Set amidst the music and fashion of the ‘60’s, intrepid Great Lakes pilot Eliza Jane Norton finds more than wind and waves on the lakes. She finds murder.
Before falling in love with all things mystery, I wrote (and shelved) two upmarket novels that combined history and folklore.
I love the water and do my best thinking with a cup of tea. My short story, YELLOWSTONE, received an Honorable Mention in the Genre Short Story category of the 93rd Annual Writer’s Digest Writing competition, and A GREAT KNEAD was a finalist for the 2023 Minnesota Mystery Flash Fiction Contest. In 2022, my poem BONNIE AND CLYDE was displayed at the Hennepin History Museum. I am a member of Sisters in Crime, Lake Superior Writers, The Loft Literary Center, and the Minnesota Historical Society.
